Sculptures
belong in gardens!
This section of the site concerns a search for sculpture-gardens.
Some of my own sculptures were placed in private gardens and that's
why I show you some introductions and weblinks. If you have a good
suggestion please let me
know!

Art et Jardin Sculpture-Garden & Exhibitions, Bilthoven
In the woody environment of Bilthoven, Art et Jardin
shows the extra dimension that sculptures can give to a garden.
Your choice for a specific sculpture in fact unveils your personal
signature to your own garden. Inserted in a natural surrounding,
sculptures form a constant source of inspiration to you and to
others.

Gallery
& Sculpture Park Groeneveld, Almelo
A beautiful website of the artist Marie-Louise Kersbergen and
her husband Dr. Paul Simon. You are welcome on their estate 'Huize
Groeneveld'. With it's exhibition area of 800 m2 and a sculpture-garden
of 3 hectares, Gallery & Sculpture Park Groeneveld Almelo
is one of the largest art centres of our country. Very much worth
while, this site gives a splendid impression of the garden, but
also of the various sculptings.

Sculpture-Garden
Cuyck
Every year around Easter, Sculpture-Garden Cuyck opens her gates
to the summer-exhibition. The sculpture-garden, characteristically
situated next to the St.Martin's Church in the centre of Cuyk,
formerly being a graveyard which has become restyled as a garden,
offers room to about 20 sculptures. The garden is specially equipped
for the works to show themselves to their full advantage.

Artihove
'Art Centre'
In this area of profound scenic beauty (the so-called "Rottemeren",
north of Rotterdam), the Artihove 'Art Centre' is situated. The
typically Dutch polder landscape with it's waterditches, it's
dense rows of pollard-willows and open grass areas, forms the
ideals platform for the various art-items of our collection.

The
Best of Perigord
In the 'Jardins
de Cadiot' from the very beginning both arts of gardening and
sculpting went together in great harmony. Since a short time ago,
in the wood-garden also a number of sculptures of Zimbabwe is
to be seen. In summertime the works of about 40 different artists
is exposed. Every year 'Afric Art' acquires on a direct 'fair-trade'
base all sorts of sculptings of the people in Tengenenge, an art-village
in the northern part of Zimbabwe, where stone-carving has been
practised for ages. Besides traditionally inspired works of art,
in our sculpture-garden you will particularly find contemporary
- and often very expressive - art.

Art
in the Polder
Behind the gallery you enter the splendidly arranged sculpture-garden
of 3500 m2. This garden is devided into several so-called 'garden-rooms',
in which sculptures in various styles are to be seen. To show
these pieces of art to their full extend, a garden has been created
which radiates a calm quiet as well as a superior background to
the sculptures exposed. Every year 'Art in the Polder' organizes
various "theme-sale-exhibitions" and in the sculpture-garden
and gallery you can also take part in guided tours and lextures
for groups.
